Rodeo de Santa Fe began in 1949 when a few local gentlemen dreamed with great determination to organize a PRO rodeo ian Santa Fe. This dream exceeded all expectations and has since become one of the top 60 Pro rodeos in the nation.
Pecos National Historic Park: Open year round. For centuries, Indian traders cut through the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range at a ridge near what is now Pecos, New Mexico. Here, the Ancestral Pueblo Indians exchanged pottery for copper and seashells. At Pecos National Historical Park, you can hike up to Arrowhead Ruin and explore this vast 105-room pueblo built seven centuries ago.
Bradbury Science Museum: Open Year Round.
Research the history and purpose of Los Alamos National Labs through inactive exhibits, feature videos and science demonstrations. The Museum, in downtown Los Alamos, bridges the laboratory and the community by interpreting past and current research and informing the public of the lab’s role in national security.
