  • El Rito Studio Tour – El Rito,NM (60 minutes from Pueblo Bonito b&b inn on 544) September 30 – October 1 2016.  Meet more than 25 artists who live and work in this sleepy village that was an early Spanish settlement, located about an hour’s drive northwest of Santa Fe. The annual open studio tour features everything from blacksmithing, fiber arts and pottery to santos and retablos. El Farolito (restaurant) is located here- we highly suggest visiting this little treasure (excellent green chile).

Harvest Festival at El Rancho de las Golondrinas September 30 – October 1, 2017 Autumn is a vibrant time to visit Rancho de las Golondrinas? Taste syrup from our burro driven sorghum mill, help make cider by cranking a traditional apple press, and pick a pumpkin from our scarecrow-guarded patch. Ski Santa Fe Fall Folige Chair Lift Rides September 30-October 1, 7 – 15  Ski Santa Fe runs their Super Chief Quad chair from 10am to 3pm (weather dependent) with Coffee Bar and La Casa Café open 9am to 4pm for spectacular aspen leave views! Last chairlift ride down is 3:30pm. Come to the Sport Shop for the annual sale- 60% off last years clothes and gear! Select days find live music, beer garden, and activities for the whole family.

Galisteo Studio Tour in sleepy Galisteo, NM (20 min drive from Pueblo Bonito b&b Inn) October 14 – 15, 2017   30th anniversary- Galisteo always offers a unique New Mexico Studio Tour Experience! Photography, paintings, pottery, ceramic art, jewelry, bronze sculpture, custom knives and hand crafted traditional arts. Walk from studio to studio along the fall colored lined streets of gold, amber and rust colored cottonwood trees in the bosque- always a breathtaking experience!

Canyon Road Paint & Sculpt Out on Historic Canyon Road October 20 – 21, 2017 100+ artists creating new works in real time and you can watch as their work comes to life! Review Santa Fe Photo Festival October 26 – 29, 2017  Review Santa Fe Photo Festival is the premier juried portfolio review event in the world! Featuring workshops, artist talks, and a special event honoring a photo luminary. The reviewers and the Review Santa Fe 100 Photographers travel from around the world to participate in this prestigious juried portfolio review, exhibition openings, and receptions.

SPECIAL TOUR OF ARROWHEAD PUEBLO (Pecos National Historical Park)  October 28: Join in on a free rare, ranger-led tour of the seldom-seen Arrowhead Pueblo. This one mile round-trip visit to the 14th century pueblo will explore the historical, archaeological, and cultural significance of this 100+ room ruin. Reservations are encouraged. Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival Nov 17 – 19, 2017 location: Community Convention Center (walking distance from Pueblo Bonito b&b).  From trash to treasures, this show is all about upcycling to make one-of-a-kind items. In addition to the art market, this event includes a Trash Fashion & Costume Contest. If you’re in town, might be a fun items to see!

Contemporary Clay Fair at Santa Fe Women’s Club November 18 – 19, 2017  More than 30 artists sell their fine pottery and unique clay art- impressive pieces of functional and whimsical pottery and other clay pieces at this free event.
